Keynote Speakers









Abstract submission

  • Please submit your abstract with a minimal amount of formatting (no caps, bold or italics).
  • The text of the abstract should not exceed 250 words and should not contain equations.
  • The file should in addition to the text of the abstract contain the following: title of the paper, author names, author affiliations, postal and e-mail addresses, name of the presenter, keywords (max 5), and JEL codes (max 5).
  • Send your abstract as an MSWord or plain-text attachment (no PDF) to sea2010@purdue.edu.
  • For your convenience you can use the following MSWord file to submit your abstract.

Grad student paper competition

  • The Spatial Econometrics Association sponsors the graduate student paper competition with a first prize of $300 and a second prize of $200.
  • A paper can be submitted for the competition if the author is currently a graduate student or his/her graduation date was after January 1, 2009. In the case of a co-authored paper the eligibility criterion pertains to all authors.
  • The jury for the prize consists of the members of the SEA Board of Directors who are present at the conference. Giuseppe Arbia chairs the jury, and he will announce the prizewinners and present the awards during the official conference dinner.

Acceptance decisions

  • NEW: Deadline for the submission of abstracts has been extended to April 23, 2010.
  • A limited number of papers will be accepted.
  • Acceptance decisions will be made by April 25, 2010.

Paper submission

  • Deadline for the submission of the full text of the accepted paper is May 24, 2010.
  • Papers will be made available through the conference website.
  • Please submit a copy of your paper in PDF format to sea2010@purdue.edu.
