2009 Award Winners

2009 PUCESA Junior Achievement Award - Corinne Alexander
Dr. Corinne Alexander was awarded the Junior Achievement Award by the Purdue University Cooperative Extension Service Association (PUCESA). The PUCESA Junior Award recognizes an extension specialist with less than 10 years of service. Criteria includes: extension leadership; excellence in public education program delivery; innovative program development and approaches to delivery; outreach efforts to county extension educators; research that benefits extension clientele through practical application; or demonstrated collaboration with county educators, agencies, or community leaders. Dr. Alexander’s programs epitomize the land grant ideal.

 

2009 PUCESA Team Award - Confined Animal Feeding Operation Team
Members of the Department were honored for their participation with the Purdue Confined Animal Feeding Operation Team. This team was awarded the Team Award by the Purdue University Cooperative Extension Service Association (PUCESA). Ag Econ members were Janet Ayres, Michael Boehlje, Larry DeBoer, and Roman Keeney. The PUCESA Team Award recognizes innovative extension programming by a group of extension specialists and their staff.
