AgEcon Sophomore Receives Beck's Hybrids Field Sales Scholarship

Jake Bohlander (Sophomore, Agribusiness Management; Darlington, IN) received the first Beck’s Hybrids Field Sales Scholarship.  Craig Spray, Sales Development Lead – Beck’s Superior Hybrids, stated, “Beck’s Hybrid is honored to recognize and support students like Jake for his efforts in the classroom and beyond.  His superior work ethic and positive attitude are characteristics we hold in very high regard. “

Jake Bohlander is a member of FarmHouse Fraternity and serves the Department of Agricultural Economics as an AGEC 331, Principles of Selling in Agricultural Business, Teaching Assistant and an Agricultural Economics Envoy.  Jake commented the following about the scholarship, “I feel very honored for receiving the Becks Sales and Marketing scholarship. It is a great feeling that there is so much industry support to Purdue University's College of Agriculture students."
