Going Green Tip for August: Stash a pitcher of water in your fridge. BECAUSE: A faucet releases a gallon a minute. Letting the tap run while the water cools wastes a resource that’s often in limited supply.

Leeck will begin as ISDA's new Program Coordinator for the Environmental Stewardship in Agriculture Initiative. She will serve the department by enhancing the stewardship of natural resources on agricultural land in a manner that creates value-added opportunity for producers and assists agricultural stakeholders with current and future regulatory challenges. Ms. Leeck comes to ISDA after six years with Demeter L.P. in Fowler, Ind. as the Warehouse Division Manager/Farm Manager.
"Roz's diverse background in agriculture economics as well as farm management will be a tremendous asset to our efforts in Environmental Stewardship," said Jerod Chew, director of the Division of Soil Conservation. "She understands the challenges that our producers face and she will bring an excellent perspective to this new focus." In 2003 Ms. Leeck earned a master's degree from Butler University in Business Administration and is currently pursuing another master's degree in Agricultural Economics from Purdue University.
