Otto Doering will be facilitating the Purdue APLS policy program September 11-15 in Washington , D.C. and also will be speaking at the Ohio State Farm Science Review Sept. 19 th .

Janet Ayres participated in the International Community Development Society conference held in St. Louis , MO , June 25-28, 2006. Dr. Ayres received the organization's Achievement Award for her work.

Raymond Florax was recently named External Fellow of the Mansholt Graduate School at Wageningen Agricultural University , Wageningen, The Netherlands ( http://www.sls.wau.nl/mi/mgs/index.htm ). Dr. Florax as also appointed as member of the Internal Executive Committee of the Center for the Environment at Purdue University.

Judy Conner retired as Administrative Assistant to the Center for Global Trade Analysis Center after 15 years at Purdue University . Judy returned to Iowa to be close to family and friends.
