Purpose of Lecture
This lecture highlights a number of issues that need to be addressed
when compiling complete accurate and consistent financial
statements. These issues must be understood if a wise management
decisions that rely on financial statements are to be made.
Structure of Presentation
A brief introduction the key financial statements begins the presentation
before moving into such issues as the entity concept, cost
and market asset valuations, the sources of equity and other
issues.
