Mohammad Iqbal l Habibi (Iqbal) son of Sayed Habib was born on March 12th 1978 in the Sayed Abad district of Wardak Provence in Afghanistan. He spent his childhood in Quetta, Balochistan in Pakistan where his family was immigrated during the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan. He attended a school which was designed by UN for Afghans refugees in Pakistan. When his family returned to his native land, Wardak, he then entered high school and graduated from ASH-SHAID Kamal AS-Sananiry High School in 1994. He worked on his family farm until he was able to enroll in Kandahar University in 1999. In 2004 he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Agronomy. After graduation Iqbal was hired to teach at Kandahar University. He also he attended a short term training program under the title of Teaching Methodology and Communication Skills in NWFP University in Peshawar Pakistan which was offered by USAID in 2005.
