Curriculum Vitae

Dr. Marshall will serve as Extension specialist in the rural business development area. Her goal is to assist in the development of new and sustainable ventures in Indiana as well as increasing the effectiveness of existing rural businesses. Dr. Maria Marshall conducts an applied research and Extension program in small business management, food marketing, and entrepreneurship.

Dr. Marshall has a master’s degree in economics from the University of Missouri at Kansas City. She received a Ph.D. in agricultural economics from Kansas State University with a specialty in international trade and development with an emphasis on technical trade barriers.
