Services delivered: City fire department to respond to fire alarms and calls originating within the Town and Township. Certain areas are mentioned for which the city is not responsible. "Exhibit A" is a description of one of these areas (this exhibit was not present with the rest of the agreement).

Financing: Township will pay to City, for itself and on behalf of the Town, an annual payment of $24,000. Must be paid on or before December 30 of each year. City is responsible for paying salaries of all fire department employees. (P. 2)

Administration: Joint board will consist of City's mayor, City's fire chief, Township's trustee, and a representative appointed by the Town as an ex officio, non-voting member. Responsibility is to administer the terms of this agreement. (P. 3)

City has exclusive control over the fire department and its employees. (P. 2)

Property: Any property purchased during the term of this agreement will be owned by the purchasing entity. The disposal or sale of any departmental property must be carried out by the entity owning the same. (P. 3)

Any equipment and trucks belonging to the Town and Township will be listed on an attached schedule (no schedule was attached). (P. 3)

Liability: City not liable for damages for any failure by the department to heed or respond to any alarm or call that is received for the duration of this agreement. (P. 3)

Termination: December 31, 1995. No mention is made of renewal. (P. 3)
