Purpose: To provide fire protection for the residents of the Township. (P. 1)

Organization: Joint agreement administered by a joint board. Joint supply: Employees are entirely from City, but Township provides its fire fighting equipment for use by the City. (P. 1-2)
Duration: 1 year. (P. 2)
Staffing and supplying: City to daily inspect Township's equipment and make recommendations for its upkeep and repair. Upon approval by Township, City will see to the maintenance and repair of Township's equipment. Work orders will be provided by City as evidence of such repairs. (P. 2)
City will provide Township with fire inspection services, utilizing the fire inspector and
additional personnel. (P. 3)
Financing: Township will pay City $100,000. Payment will be made as funds become available
throughout 1995, insofar as one-half (½) is remitted not later than June 30, 1995, and the other half
no later than December 31, 1995. City will pay salaries of fire fighting personnel. City not
responsible for costs of upkeep of equipment owned by Township. Township responsible for
gasoline expenses of equipment which it owns. (Pp. 1-2)
Administration: By joint board, composed of one (1) representative from the Wayne Township Advisory Board and two (2) representatives from the Warsaw Board of Public Works and Safety. Duties include: 1. Administer the obligations of this contract. 2. Recommend modifications of Agreement upon renewal. 3. Review documents. (P. 2)
City will file written reports on the fifteenth (15) day following the end of each month.
Reports will detail the date, time, location, and equipment dispatched to each fire occurring in the
Township for the preceding month. (P. 2)
Termination: December 31, 1995. May be renewed in writing for an additional term. (P. 2)
