Organization: Joint agreement. No governing board. Joint supply: Each party has the responsibilities of hiring personnel, making payments, and performing maintenance on their section of the road once the project is done. (Pp. 1-3) (For the purpose of reconstruction, Greene Road has been divided into two sections, Section 1 and Section 2, whose exact demarcations are given.) (P. 1)

Services delivered: As part of preliminary engineering, City agrees to have preliminary cost estimates prepared for both sections. (P. 2)

Financing: City and County shall individually pay for the services of an engineer to prepare the necessary plans and specifications for their respective sections. (P. 1) County shall pay all costs connected with Section 1 of the project less any contribution by the State or Federal Governments. City shall likewise pay all costs connected with Section 2 of Project. Costs of obtaining any additional right-of-ways shall be paid by that party in whose section the right-of-way falls. (P. 2)

Administration: City shall bid project in two sections. County reserves the right to require City to reject all bids for Section 1 of project if lowest responsible bid exceeds preliminary cost estimates by more than 5 percent. (P. 2)

City will not accept bids for Section 2 of project for at least 3 weeks after bidding begins for that section. County agrees that any notice to reject all bids for Section 2 of project will be made in writing to City within 14 days of City's opening bids for Section 2 of project. (Pp. 2-3)

City shall receive billings from successful bidder and shall approve the billings and pay them. City shall provide County with a copy of all billings and claims which City has paid so that County can pay the amount it owes. (P. 3)

City and County shall have equal rights and access to information connected with this project. Any and all documents, information, reports received by either party shall be immediately shared with the other. City and County shall fully cooperate with each other in completing this project. (P. 3)

On completion of project, City shall accept Section 1 and shall be responsible for the maintenance of Section 1. County will likewise accept, and be responsible for, Section 2. (P. 3)
