Rising energy prices, energy security, and environmental concerns have driven interest in renewable energy. Here we provide a variety of research projects designed to develop a better understanding of economic issues related to bio-energy projects.

Structural Change in the Dairy Industry

The dairy industry is currently in the midst of a significant period of structural change. These changes include tremendous reductions in the number of dairy farms and increases in the typical dairy farm size. Here we document these changes, describe their causes, and discuss their implications.
