The Departments of Agricultural Economics, and Space, Health and Population Economics(SHaPE) Research Group at Purdue University hosts the fifith annual midwest graduate student summit on regional, population, health and environmental (RPHE) economics.
The summit will bring together graduate students and post-docs at major universities in the Midwest for a laid-back and collegial conference focused on students’ research. We provide a forum for each graduate student or post-doc to present his/her in-progress research or completed research. We expect these presentations will spark discussions about the current research students are undertaking and acquaint graduate students with each other and professors studying similar topics.
The conference presentations address a variety of topics of growing importance to a community of applied economists, and planning and regional development scholars. Students are encouraged to submit a proposal in any of the following areas:
